About
ToroNave Design was founded from a passion for advanced marine engineering by Jakub Byczek, a naval architecture graduate specialising in hydrodynamic analysis, CFD and performance-oriented vessel design.Based in Szczecin, Poland the studio combines conceptual design, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and engineering-driven development into a single creative and technical process.Jakub graduated in Ocean Engineering, achieving top academic results throughout his studies, including recognition for award-winning research work. Alongside academic development, he gained practical experience through engineering collaborations, specialised training programmes, internships and independent design projects. Currently pursuing PhD research in advanced numerical methods and marine engineering, his work focuses on the intersection of fluid dynamics, hydrodynamic optimisation and next-generation marine mobility concepts.ToroNave combines engineering precision with minimalist aesthetics and a strong emphasis on performance, optimisation and technical detail. From early-stage concepts to simulation-driven development, each project is treated as an exploration of form, motion and hydrodynamic efficiency at sea.
